The Ethiopian Kale Heywet Church Communication and Literature Department was established in 1988. The Department serves the church, the wider evangelical community and other people at large in the country by producing a range of publications in the Amharic language. Among other things, it produces teaching materials for Bible study groups, Sunday schools, and for theological teaching institutions. The Department is now renamed as Communication and Literature having three sections: Communication, Literature and publication and Acquisitions. Promoting the mission and activities of the EKHC is the major objective of the Department

The EKHC Communication and Literature department serves the church, the wider evangelical community and other people at large in the country by producing a range of publications in the Amharic language. Among other things, it produces teaching materials for Sunday schools, Bible-study groups, and theological teaching institution and theological education by extension. It also produces books on Christian doctrine, ethics, church liturgy, church history and a monthly magazine called "Kale Heywet"

Distribution

EKHC Literature and communication department .has a shop at its Head Office in Addis Ababa, from which materials are distributed. The department also plans to open distribution centers in each EKHC zonal office and in big Cities.
