The very existence of EKHC is for the purpose of declaring the Good News of the Lord Jesus Christ so that the Kingdom of God might be advanced throughout different nations, colors and languages in accordance with the Great Commission given by the Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, evangelism continues to be the major activity and focus of the Church. Although Ethiopia has been a Christian nation for centuries, there are a large number of people groups that have never heard the gospel message.  The EKHC has responded to this urgent need by sending about 1500 national, district and zonal evangelists to un reached areas.

The Church has also sent (for a short period) its evangelists abroad to countries like India and Pakistan.  In India, the EKHC has established a Bible school and employed two instructors.  Additionally, the Church has made plans to send evangelists to Rwanda and the Sudan.

Church Building

In the Central and Southern parts of Ethiopia, the church is growing rapidly.  In the East and North, growth is slower, and local churches need more support and encouragement.  Part of this is helping them to construct their own church buildings.

Church Planting and Church Growth

Church members are encouraged to share in church growth by sending national evangelists, who can reach out to those of their own culture and language. Evangelists are then trained and supported so that they can become effective.

Film Project:-

Through film ministry hundreds of people are coming to the Lord and become the member of  local churches.

Bicycle service:-   hundreds of bicycle were distributed for hundreds of evangelists to use for transportation Still we need thousands of bicycles supported so that they can become effective.
