EKHC Mission Statement

The Ethiopian Kale Heywet Church's mission is to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to the peoples of Ethiopia and beyond to the end of the earth so that people receive eternal life, become Christ's disciples and are fulfilled spiritually, socially, mentally and physically to the glory of God.

The very existence of EKHC is for the purpose of declaring the Good News of the Lord Jesus Christ so that the Kingdom of God might be advanced throughout different nations, colors and languages in accordance with the Great Commission given by the Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, evangelism continues to be the major activity and focus of the Church.

The EKHC is blessed with thousands of ministers who are committed to full-time service. And most of the Church's activities are accomplished by its members. Spiritual Ministries remains in the heart of the Church's work, as it aims to build up the body of Christ and reach the un reached new people with the Gospel.

The Church is also involved in relief and development, including integrated rural development, water and sanitation, health services, technical training, urban ministry, child sponsorship programs, emergency relief assistance, advocacy, environmental management and protection. We express our special gratitude to our partners who have been working with us to the expansion of the kingdom of God and the well being of our community.
